Not everyone has space in their kitchen for even the smallest central heating boiler – and others prefer to site their boilers where they have space in other parts of the home.
With ModuLink heating controls, Buderus offer total flexibility of boiler siting for their gas fired condensing combis. The Buderus ModuLink is a completely remote and wireless combined room thermostat and programmer in one unit with a 30 metre operational field and frees the consumer to site their Boulter Buderus boiler wherever is most convenient to them. Although around 40% of boilers are actually located in the kitchen, making this the most popular siting, there are several other options such as garage, bedroom, laundry cupboard, even the cellar, where the recommended vertical fluing is usually very practical.
The loft is probably the last remaining available under-utilised space in the home, but has not been a practical proposition for a boiler until now, with the availability of remote control systems which make the loft a perfectly viable solution because setting and altering times and temperatures does not require a visit to the boiler.
The controls are designed especially for Buderus condensing combis and are easy to use and adjust (operation is similar to mobile phone menus). They have a frost protection programme, are easy to install with simple plug and play function and are a low cost extra for the high quality Buderus boilers.
The combination of high efficiency Buderus boilers with the unique ModuLink control ensures that the boiler modulating function is based on room temperature, giving the most efficient and direct operation possible. This innovation is not yet included in SEDBUK rating calculations and therefore improves performance even beyond its actual SEDBUK A rating.
The Modulink control is the perfect solution for situations where the boiler could be more conveniently sited in another part of the home, allowing the homeowner to retain as much valuable storage space as possible throughout the house.
