The RC20 is designed for use with the 500 condensing combi boilers and comes with 8 pre-programmed settings to control heating and hot water.The control unit has a frost protection programme, day and night settings, and a simple to operate multi- function dial that can be used to select the desired temperature and alter other settings. The hot water flow temperature for example, can be regulated directly from the control unit. This function is especially useful if the boiler is located some distance from the controller.
The RC20 is a 24V controller and so is simply wired into the boiler DBA unit, bypassing Part P requirements.
